Okay, here’s a list to remember! :
your cheer leading outfit, cheer shoes, deodorant, your hair up, hairspray, makeup, money for food (or pack your own lunch), snacks, water, and shave everywhere LOL. also bring your camera its a very memorable moment icon smile How do you get prepared for a cheerleading competition?
so you have a week till competition, RELAX your gonna do great. try stretching because you don’t wanna pull anything during your competition. practice your dance, and if you have room your jumps too. mock your stunts too. also listen too your music day and night, so you can practice your counts.
best of luck <3

Okay remember to get all of the things you will need to preform, make a check list and before you leave the house make sure that everything is checked off before you leave. Extra things to bring are: bobby pins, hairspray, extra rubber bands (in case they break), make up (for touch ups) and a smile. Before you get on stage, you will feel nervous, don’t! You have nothing to worry about. If you are nervous you are not going to do as good as you would if you were just fine. Don’t think about the stress, and just pretend you are back at your school or gym practicing it! remember to smile, oh and judges love winks :) . if you wink at them, that is extra points! Oh and when you are walking to your next spot after a tumbling pass or stunt etc, do a cute little hand wave or blow a kiss (do this while you walk don’t just stop and do it lol). Remember to breath and say your counts in your head, and if you forget a part of the routine DO NOT EVER improvise (it will look sloppy) just stand there in the “clean” position and smile, then when you know the next part, pick it back up. Remember these things, and you will do great! Good luck :)
