Every time I’m around cheerleaders, I get an erection. This usually happens on Fridays cuz that’s the varsity football game day, and the cheerleaders wear their uniforms to school.

Yes, cheerleaders are hot and seeing attractive women naturally causes arousal. It is a trait that is selected for by natural selection. 100% normal.
If the cheerleader is a guy then no it is not normal.
Cheerleaders are you usually selected based on their physical attractiveness, cheery personalities, and athletic ability. Along with their skimpy outfits, it is quite normal for a male to be stimulated and develop an erection around them.
If this presents an awkward and/or embarrassing situation, I would recommend you don’t be near them or think more about the football game than the cheerleaders. That might be “hard” to do. Good luck.
I would say that it is very normal to get turned-on by a cheerleader. Why?
1) the uniforms. These uniforms are very flirty. The typical cheerleader uniform is not baggy, might have an open midriff and probably requires wearing a skirt. This is a lot more flirty that what school regulations allow for a normal dress code
2) the girls are usually very attractive. At the very least they have to be fit enough to do the cheer routine, so usually you don’t have any out of shape girls as cheerleaders.
Attractive (fit) girls + Flirty uniforms = possibly arousal (depending on if cheerleaders are your kind of thing or not)
