Question: What do people think of male cheerleaders?

Question by lajinnsolo: What do people think of male cheerleaders?
I just took a cheer clinic and absolutely loved it. I think I could get into the college program if I wanted to (they’re really short on them), but I want to know what people think about male cheerleaders. I think they have kind of a bad rep or something.

Uhhh…..a guy on a football team would be way hotter, in my opinion. A cheerleader……really? Um, no offense…..just no. lol I just can’t picture a guy doing that, I guess. There isn’t anything else you’re interested in?

What do you think? Answer below!

  1. what a lonely world says:

i dont care if u going to be a cheerleader or not.. with that being said, put in mind that people dont care so you have nothing to worry about because people are too absorbed about their own predicaments in life to notice a guy cheerleading.. sure they will notice you for several seconds.. but after that they go back thinking about their own selves

Forget about what other people think. Guy cheerleaders are in high demand by teams. A lot of them get scholarships for college, depending on what school they go to.

I dated one (I’m gay) and he was too girly, even for me. He told me to come to one of his dance lessons once, and I brought my friends to meet my new BF, and they all saw him dancing in short shorts and clapping and cocking his head and I was like OMG…how embarrassing. It didn’t help that he ran up to me after the performance and leaped on me. I ended that pretty quickly.

When I was in high school, we had one male cheerleader, and during school functions everyone would go crazy when he would come out and do all kinds of flippidy dippidy stunts and crap, and he got all the chicks. As long as you’re confident in what you’re doing, and having fun doing it, no one will think down on you, in fact quite the opposite, if you’re good at it.
