Question: Why do female college cheerleaders wear tattoos on their cheeks?

Question by : Why do female college cheerleaders wear tattoos on their cheeks?
I notice the University of Kentucky female cheerleaders (not the male cheerleaders) wear “Game Faces” tattoos on their right cheeks (either the blue UK logo or the blue paw print). My question is why do they wear these type of tattoos at games and at competitions? Thanks!

They’re stickers. They are simply showing support for their team, that is all. It just adds a little extra flair.

They are not tattoos but paint. Some cheerleaders actually paint their entire face with team colors for the game. Then they wash it off after the game.
